Description
Greenville Electric Utility System is soliciting proposals for on-call inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for steam turbines and associated equipment serving Steam Units 1, 2, and 3. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, technical expertise, tools, equipment, and other resources needed for authorized work performed on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum quantity. The scope may include rotor, bearing, control valve, lubricating oil system, hydraulic system, non-return valve, governor, and stop valve inspections and repairs; troubleshooting equipment failures; recommendations for corrective action; and other work supporting safe and reliable turbine operation. Proposals must address company qualifications, technical personnel experience, call-out and emergency response procedures, contract exceptions, and pricing. The solicitation requires at least five years of experience repairing steam turbines and associated equipment, three vendor references, and a response capability within 24 hours of call-out.
