Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research for a secure juvenile facility providing in-house beds for male and female federal juvenile offenders. The contemplated services include secure custody and supervision, case management, rehabilitation and reentry programming, education and vocational training, health and behavioral-health services, and work-release programming, in accordance with the March 2025 Statement of Work. The requirement does not include a separate home-confinement line item. The anticipated contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity arrangement with firm-fixed unit prices for one service line item. It is expected to include a one-year base period and four one-year options, with a possible six-month extension. The anticipated capacity is a guaranteed minimum of five beds and an estimated maximum of ten beds during each base and option period. This is a pre-solicitation notice and RFI; it is not a request for proposals. The RFI seeks capability and market feedback, not offers. The future solicitation is expected to establish the proposal deadline and submission requirements.
