Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, and equipment needed to add quick-connect docking stations to three Community Hospital emergency generators for temporary roll-up generator hookups. The project also includes installing a backflow device on the Physician Office Building South fire-protection water service. Addendum No. 2 confirms that all three docking stations will be pad-mounted on concrete equipment pads with manufacturer-provided leg-stand kits; 400A camlock cable sets must be provided, with a 50-foot length for each docking station; and the Cord Blood generator requires replacement of its existing 1,200A breaker within the existing generator assembly, subject to contractor field verification. All work must be completed within 225 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid security of at least 5% of the total bid is required. The selected contractor must comply with participation goals of 12% MBE and 18% WBE, along with workforce participation goals of 10% WBE and 10% MBE. Addendum No. 2 must be acknowledged on the Form of Proposal. Bidding documents may be obtained from Syracuse Blue Print Company for a $49.99 deposit, waived for certified Minority and Women-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses.
