Description
Project 151299/1572 requires a contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment for alterations to Upstate Hospital’s existing emergency department walk-in entrance to accommodate new weapons detection equipment. The project also includes replacement of 72 obsolete room pressure monitoring devices throughout University Hospital, the Concentrated Care Center/East Wing, and the East Tower, along with associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-protection, HVAC, controls, testing, commissioning, and logistics work described in the drawings and specifications. All work must be completed within 300 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate, and bid security of at least 5% of the total bid is required. The project includes 12% MBE and 18% WBE participation goals; SDVOB document deposits are waived for certified businesses, and SDVOB participation is encouraged. Addendum 1 revises drawings and specifications and must be acknowledged on the Form of Proposal.
