Description
The San Mateo County Transit District is soliciting quotations for high-pressure hydro jetting and line cleaning at four facilities. Work includes cleaning sanitary sewer mains, drain piping, trench drains, cleanouts, and manhole connections; removing grease, sediment, sludge, and other obstructions; and disposing of waste responsibly. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, and supervision needed for the work and complete it within 90 days of purchase order issuance. The contractor must submit a digital service report listing the sites and access points serviced, completion dates and times, observed pipe conditions or blockages, and prioritized recommendations for repairs, CCTV inspection, or maintenance-frequency changes. The solicitation requires the prime contractor to self-perform at least 50% of the work. Quotations must include the specified quotation forms and proof of California Department of Industrial Relations registration. For purchase orders over $25,000, the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the quotation price; insurance documentation is required from the successful bidder.
