Description
The City seeks contractors to secure commercial and residential properties on an as-needed basis. Work includes supplying and installing painted plywood over openings, securing windows and doors with screws, installing hasps or chains and locks, tarping roof penetrations, and shoring or stabilizing unsafe structures with prior approval. Contractors must respond within 30 minutes of notification and perform standard boarding work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; nights, weekends, and holidays are excluded. The City provides locks, and the solicitation sets maximum unit prices for the listed work. The contract term is three years, with two possible one-year extensions.
