Description
The California Highway Patrol is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services two days per week at its Portola Resident Post. The scope includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, buffing, carpet spot cleaning and semiannual steam cleaning, waste removal, window cleaning, cleaning of offices and briefing and locker rooms, restroom cleaning and restocking, employee-room sink and counter cleaning, ventilator-grill cleaning, and sidewalk sweeping. The contractor must provide labor, transportation, equipment, operating expenses, and related costs; CHP will provide cleaning chemicals, paper products, trash liners, and other consumables. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with one one-year extension option. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must attend the mandatory site walk-through, submit the required signed attachments and supporting qualifications, and perform at least 75% of the work themselves. The solicitation waives the DVBE participation requirement but permits eligible DVBE participation for an incentive.
