Description
The University of West Alabama is soliciting sealed bids for construction of new student housing under Project No. 25-154. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof, and qualifying bidders must provide their current Alabama general contractor license number on the sealed envelope. A bid bond or cashier's check payable to the University, equal to at least 5% of the bid amount and capped at $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications are available for examination and may be obtained in electronic PDF format from the Construction Manager. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for September 29, 2026.
