Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is seeking a contractor to provide floor care services at the Choctaw County Health Department for the period October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The scope includes annual stripping and refinishing of approximately 13,500 square feet of VCT and terrazzo flooring; annual cleaning of all carpeted areas, including moving and replacing furniture; sweeping, mopping, and buffing open-area VCT flooring three times per year; and annual turbo cleaning of bathroom tile floors. The awarded supplier must provide all chemicals, materials, and equipment. Subcontracting is strictly prohibited, and the personnel performing the work must be the owner or legal employees of the awarded supplier. A mandatory site visit is required, and quotes from vendors that did not attend will not be considered.
