Description
East Mississippi State Hospital is soliciting a contractor to furnish and service 13 waste containers. The requirement includes five 8-cubic-yard containers on hospital grounds, two 6-cubic-yard containers on hospital grounds, one 6-cubic-yard container at the S Building, one 8-cubic-yard container at the Bradley Sanders Adolescent Complex, four 8-cubic-yard containers at 1451 North Lakeland Drive, and one 2-cubic-yard container at a pump station. Collection frequencies range from daily service to weekly Friday service, depending on the container location. Prices must include transportation, surcharges, handling charges, applicable taxes, and freight. The contractor must provide container steam cleaning and deodorizing upon request, paint containers as needed, replace damaged containers upon request at no charge, clean up spills, protect property, and comply with applicable safety requirements. The contract term is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with the hospital retaining the right to adjust container quantities, sizes, and service frequencies based on need.
