Description
The Clarke County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids for surface treatment of approximately 12.820 miles of county roads in Districts 2, 3, and 4. The work includes single bituminous surface treatment, double bituminous surface treatment, and fog seal with pavement marking on 12.522 miles, along with all required labor, equipment, materials, and plant. Bids must comply with the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, 2024 Edition, including applicable amendments, special provisions, and addenda. A bid security equal to 5% of the total bid is required, and the successful bidder must furnish a contract bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. The complete proposal and contract documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope, with electronic bidding available subject to requirements provided by the engineer of record.
