Description
The City of Bay Springs is soliciting sealed bids for the re-bid of Brick Street ADA access improvements in Bay Springs, Mississippi. The project is financed through a Community Development Block Grant and is subject to applicable CDBG requirements, including Section 3 contracting, subcontracting, training, and employment provisions, as well as Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements. Bids must include bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, provided as a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from a company properly licensed in Mississippi. Minority- and woman-owned businesses are solicited as prime contractors and encouraged to inquire about subcontracting, equipment, material, and supply opportunities. Electronic bids may be submitted through the designated bidding website, and sealed bids must be marked exactly with the project title and location. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 and Davis-Bacon requirements.
