Description
Santa Cruz County’s Department of General Services, Capital Projects Section, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consulting firms for on-call professional services supporting county building, facilities, infrastructure, and improvement projects. Available disciplines include architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, geotechnical, environmental, construction management, construction cost estimating, land surveying, landscape architecture, facility condition assessment, hazardous-material testing, security-system design, space planning, traffic engineering, and other listed specialties. The County intends to establish separate on-call lists for each discipline, selecting one to five consultants per list. Individual projects will be assigned as needed through project-specific proposals and agreements, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum workload. Respondents must demonstrate appropriate California licensure, relevant public-project experience, qualified personnel, quality-control procedures, budget and schedule management capabilities, and at least three comparable projects completed within the past five years. The SOQ is limited to 20 pages and must include the required qualifications, experience, references, conflict-of-interest statement, litigation disclosure, contract comments, and fee schedule.
