The Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency is soliciting sealed informal bids for the Coyote Ridge East Fence Improvement Project. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals to remove approximately 8,788 linear feet of existing barbed-wire fence and construct approximately 4,726 linear feet of new wildlife-friendly, four-strand barbed-wire livestock fence. The scope also includes installation of up to four 12-foot wire gates, two 12-foot swing gates, and up to three elk crossings. Work must follow the specified fencing, bracing, gate, and wildlife-crossing requirements, minimize vegetation disturbance, and accommodate rural ranch roads and steep, uneven terrain. Bidders must hold a valid California contractor license, maintain California Department of Industrial Relations registration, and demonstrate at least three similar ranch or wildland fencing projects completed during the previous five years. The project is subject to California prevailing-wage requirements, and the contract time is 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
