Description
The City of Emporia is soliciting sealed bids for the Quaker Park Improvements Project. The base bid includes mobilization; removal of existing structures; clearing and grubbing; approximately 550 cubic yards of contractor-furnished common excavation; approximately 550 square yards of Type B earthwork compaction; 180 square yards of four-inch plain concrete sidewalk; temporary slope barriers; inlet sediment barriers; sediment removal; and permanent seeding, fertilizing, and mulching. Bids must include a certified check, cashier's check, or approved bidder's bond of at least 5% of the total bid. The successful contractor will be required to furnish statutory, performance, and maintenance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract. Plans and bid documents are available for a fee, with hard-copy, electronic, and delivery options stated in the solicitation.
