Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16, Network Contracting Activity, G.V. Sonny Montgomery VAMC, Pathology Department, is seeking a reference laboratory to perform T-Spot TB testing. This testing is essential for screening healthcare employees and patients for Tuberculosis (TB) infection. The contractor will be responsible for providing T-Spot reference laboratory services, maintaining CLIA and CAP accreditation, and ensuring timely delivery of test results. Deliverables include test results within 72 hours of sample submission, daily specimen pick-up services Monday through Friday, and inclusion of VA Identification Card Numbers (VAICN) or VA Electronic Data Interchange Personal Identifiers (VAEDIPI) with patient reports. The contract is anticipated to have a base period from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, with four one-year option periods.
