Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for beds and mattresses for the Pueblo VA Community Living Center. The Department of Veterans Affairs is requesting a firm-fixed price contract for the delivery and installation of two bariatric beds with mattresses and twenty-five hospital beds with mattresses. The contract will also include the removal and disposition of existing beds and mattresses, as well as onsite training. The bariatric beds must have a patient capacity of at least 800 lbs, a low bed height of 12 inches or less, integrated scales, and specific side-rail and control features. The hospital beds must have a patient capacity of at least 500 lbs and similar features to the bariatric beds. Both types of mattresses require pressure redistribution, microclimate systems, and integrated pump systems. Delivery is to the Pueblo VA Community Living Center, Monday-Friday between 0800 and 1500 hours, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must have an operable lift gate for delivery as there is no loading dock. Disposal of existing equipment is also required, with up to six beds removed per day over a five-day period. Training must be provided onsite prior to delivery.
