Description
The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of one electric rollback tow truck. The vehicle must be a Class 7 vocational straight truck with a GVWR of 33,000 lbs, equipped with an electric powertrain (minimum 190 kW continuous / 400 kW peak), a battery system providing at least 180 miles of winter range, active thermal management, and CCS1 or NACS charging capability. The rollback body must be 22-foot extruded 6061-T6 aluminum with a hydraulic winch and wheel lift. The truck must be winter-ready with heated mirrors, battery pre-conditioning, and an Onspot automatic tire chain system. Delivery is FOB destination to CDOC Fleet Services at East Canon City Prison Complex. The contract is a one-time purchase with a base period only.
