Description
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive clinical laboratory testing services across the entire state. This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to establish multiple contracts to ensure the best value for the State. The scope of work includes providing accredited laboratory services, specimen collection at various state agency locations, and STAT testing with a two-hour turnaround time. Vendors will be required to provide CLIA certification, director's laboratory license, and proof of background checks for employees servicing state agencies. Additionally, vendors must supply aggregated data on turnaround times and quality improvement metrics monthly, and integrate laboratory information systems with existing site systems. Services are required seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, with specific requirements for phlebotomists, including proficiency in pediatric venipuncture and availability during specified hours at certain facilities.
