Description
Lincoln County seeks a qualified consultant to manage construction of a replacement bridge carrying County Road 43 over the Arikaree River. The project includes removing the existing five-span, 180-foot bridge and replacing it with a three-span, 235-foot bridge, along with updated bridge and guardrails, earthwork, riprap, seeding, mulching, and traffic control. The estimated construction cost is $4,226,508; this is the construction estimate, not a stated budget for the consulting services. The consultant team will provide day-to-day construction management, inspection, and materials testing, including CDOT contract administration, review of schedules and pay estimates, monitoring of project costs and compliance, documentation, and required testing and reporting. The prime consultant must be on CDOT’s prequalified-consultant list as of October 28, 2026. The Construction Manager must be a Colorado-licensed professional engineer with at least 10 years of construction experience and experience on CDOT-funded projects; the Construction Inspector must have at least five years of construction experience. Proposals are limited to 10 pages, excluding cover pages, dividers, and appendices, and must include team qualifications and experience, approach and staffing, references, and a not-to-exceed fee proposal.
