Description
The University of Kentucky HealthCare project seeks a prime contractor for construction work expanding the existing Substation #1 with a new transformer, switchgear building, and associated equipment, as well as work at Substation #3. The scope also includes underground electrical duct banks across the project sites, wiring, terminations, and energization to provide normal and emergency power distribution for the new facilities. Bids are available for General Trades and Electrical trade categories. Bids must be submitted digitally through SmartBid as a single consolidated PDF, using the supplied official forms. A completed Notice of Intent to Bid is required to obtain document access and bid-upload capability. The bid package includes a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the base bid; the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The apparent low bidder must provide proposed subcontractor and materials/equipment lists after bid opening.
