Description
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government is seeking bids for a pedestrian bridge at Lakeview Park. The bid response must include product specifications and installation instructions, pricing for the product and engineered drawings stamped for installation in Kentucky, and an estimated delivery timeline after receipt of the order. The project package includes bridge specifications and drawings. The contractor must provide the bridge and related materials ready for installation, with hardware, specifications, instructions, appropriate packaging, and delivery unloading. The solicitation requires a 5% bid security for bids over $100,000; the apparent low bidder must provide performance security equal to 100% of the bid price before award recommendation. A performance bond is not to be submitted with the bid. The contract also restricts assignment or subcontracting without the buyer's written consent.
