Description
Fayette County Public Schools seeks snow removal and clearing services for 12 school properties. Work includes plowing parking lots, drive lanes, loading zones, and facility entrances; applying salt or other approved de-icing materials; and hauling or relocating snow when directed. Snow operations are triggered by accumulations of 0–2 inches or more, and ice treatment is required proactively during freezing rain, sleet, or icy conditions. Services must be completed before normal business hours, by 6:00 a.m., and maintained during the day as needed. The contractor must respond to service calls within 60 minutes and provide 24/7 dispatch contact coverage. Proposals must include company background and relevant experience, available equipment and staff, de-icing materials, pricing, at least three references from educational institutions or similar public agencies, and proof of insurance and licensing. The technical proposal and cost proposal are evaluated equally, at 500 points each. The contract is for January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals subject to mutual approval.
