Description
The City seeks a qualified contractor to provide job-order services for assessing, cleaning, repairing, rehabilitating, coating, lining, and replacing existing sanitary sewer manholes throughout its wastewater collection system. Work may include concrete and structural repairs, frame and cover adjustments, excavation, flow control or bypass, backfill, pavement and surface restoration, traffic control, and documentation for the City's asset records. The contractor must furnish the materials, equipment, and personnel needed for individual job orders and provide product literature and specifications for proposed systems and materials with its qualifications submission. The program is intended for Fiscal Year 2027, with up to four additional one-year extensions at the City's discretion. The anticipated annual budget is approximately $750,000, but no minimum amount of work is guaranteed. The City will evaluate qualifications, experience, approach, proposed products and systems, key personnel, local participation, and subcontractor selection plans. The submission must include the specified qualifications narratives and product literature, along with the required acknowledgment and affidavits. The solicitation warns that sewer work may involve hydrogen sulfide and permit-required confined spaces.
