Description
The City of Jackson is soliciting quotes for the ordered demolition of a total-fire-loss residence at 209 Rockwell Street. The scope includes asbestos and hazardous-material abatement, demolition and removal of the residence and accessory structures, removal of foundations, debris, trees, fencing, hard surfaces, and utility service terminations, followed by backfilling, grading, topsoil, seeding, straw, and site restoration. The project specifically requires removal of one driveway approach, installation of 33 linear feet of curb and gutter, replacement of 40 linear feet of public sidewalk, concrete and hot-patch asphalt repairs as needed, and completion of all work by November 27, 2026. Crews must hold appropriate asbestos licenses, and the contractor must provide required notices, permits, air-monitoring and disposal documentation, insurance, and other compliance records. Quotes must be submitted through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, including the completed pricing table, required questionnaire responses, demolition-specific license, ethics disclosure form, and additional requested documents.
