Description
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is soliciting one technical proposal for a project-specific, cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement to provide construction inspection services for the Route 1 northbound bridge over the Raritan River in Edison and New Brunswick, Middlesex County. The scope includes a project manager; lead and additional bridge inspectors; an office engineer; a schedule analyst/reviewer; and additional non-rated inspection resources as needed. Staff must meet specified PE, NICET, construction inspection, office engineering, NJDOT SiteManager, and scheduling qualifications, with personnel available for project staging, shifts, and in-person schedule meetings. The anticipated performance period is November 1, 2026, through June 30, 2030. The technical proposal must address mandatory qualifications, project-manager and key-staff experience, past performance, team commitment, resumes, certifications, references, a letter of transmittal, and a two-page project-approach narrative addressing key issues and critical problems. The proposal is limited to eligible or timely prequalified firms, with joint ventures permitted if each participating firm is prequalified. The solicitation requires upload through Bid Express using the specified filename format; each upload is limited to 125 MB.
