Description
Middlesex County is soliciting full-service automated conveyor-belt car wash services for county vehicles. Self-service and mobile car washes are not acceptable. Services must include vacuuming, exterior washing, and interior and exterior window cleaning, performed twice monthly for approximately 131 sedans, 184 SUVs, 92 pickup trucks, and 27 minivans. The contractor must establish a house account, issue receipts identifying the county vehicle license plate and vendor signature, and describe a vehicle-tracking process that prevents vehicles from being serviced more than twice per month. The contract is firm-fixed-price, awarded based on the lowest total lump-sum amount, with a 12-month initial term and one optional 12-month extension. Bidders must submit unit pricing through the bid sheet and provide the required vendor questionnaire responses and forms. A 20% collective county contracting goal applies to Qualified Business Enterprises, and vendors with those certifications must submit their New Jersey certifications with the bid or proposal.
