Description
Greene County is soliciting product manufacturers to furnish liquid antiscalant and compatible clean-in-place chemicals for a water treatment plant. The antiscalant must meet specified performance characteristics, be NSF/ANSI Standard 60 certified, and be comparable to Avista Vitec 7400 or an approved equal. Bidders must identify the proposed products and manufacturers, provide supporting documentation for equals, and submit safety data sheets with the bid. The bid includes estimated quantities of 3,700 gallons of antiscalant, 1,800 pounds of high-pH CIP chemical, and 1,800 pounds of low-pH CIP chemical. The supplier must provide pricing, compatible CIP product information and quantities, required unloading equipment, safe delivery by truck to the Northwest Regional Water Treatment Plant, pumping into the designated bulk tanks, spill cleanup, and removal of empty totes when requested. Only the product manufacturer may bid. The County may make multiple, non-exclusive awards and does not guarantee any minimum or maximum purchase quantity.
