Description
The Town of Ranlo, North Carolina is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural, design, or engineering firms for planning, design, and construction management services for a new public works facility. The project involves constructing a new complex to house various departments including water/sewer, sanitation, parks and recreation, street maintenance, stormwater, and general public works staff. The current facility, an old metal building at 120 Duff Street, has flooding issues and inadequate space. The new facility may be built at the existing site or at another town property at 117 Duff Street. The selected firm will provide services including needs assessment, site analysis, design, permitting, construction administration, and more. Submittals are due by 5:00 PM on September 16, 2026. Interested firms must be registered with the NC Secretary of State and have a NC Registered Professional Architect in responsible charge. Evaluation criteria include understanding of tasks, experience with similar projects, staff qualifications, and ability to meet schedules.
