Description
The Village of Mamaroneck is requesting proposals for Planning, Engineering, and Design Services to address flood risk and improve flood resiliency along the Beaver Swamp Brook in the Rye Neck section of the Village. This project is funded by a grant from the New York State (NYS) Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) Office of Resilient Homes and Communities (ORHC), utilizing Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG - DR) funds. The scope of work includes a project initiation meeting, site reconnaissance, topographic and bathymetric surveys, subsurface investigations, engineering analysis for a sanitary pump station, conceptual engineering design, cost opinion, identification of permitting needs, and the development of an engineering design report. The selected proposer will be responsible for delivering various products in specified formats, including digital and paper copies, and must be licensed to practice in New York State. The contract term is one year, with the possibility of extension, and the project must adhere to grant program deadlines, with all CDBG-DR funded work to be completed by January 1, 2027.
