Description
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit proposals from qualified economic development consulting firms and/or individuals. The selected firm(s) will be responsible for evaluating applications for financial assistance related to affordable housing, mixed-use, and transit-oriented projects within Nassau County. Services will include reviewing project applications and supporting materials, meeting with applicants and agency representatives, and delivering written reports with suggested guidance on PILOT and other financial assistance for these projects. The NCIDA intends to establish a list of responsive and responsible contractors on an as-needed basis, and may split services among multiple contractors. The selected contractor(s) will enter into an agreement with the Agency, expected to expire on December 31, 2028, at the Agency's discretion. The agreement may be terminated by either party with thirty days' written notice. The services are expected to involve research, data compilation, and analysis, with potential presentations to agency staff and members.
