Description
The City of Lincoln is seeking qualified arboriculture contractors for as-needed right-of-way tree services, including pruning, tree removal, stump removal, stump grinding, debris hauling, backfilling, cleanup, traffic control, and related labor, equipment, supervision, and safety measures. Work will be performed in accordance with ANSI A300 Part 1, the Lincoln Municipal Code, applicable state and federal law, and the City's specifications. A certified City of Lincoln first-class arborist or ISA-certified arborist must be present on site whenever tree work is performed, and bidders must submit equipment information, personnel credentials, and references for similar work. The estimated total work over the contract term is approximately $200,000, although no quantity or dollar amount is guaranteed. Contractors may select an individual-project threshold of $0–$10,000, $0–$25,000, or $0–$50,000; performance and payment bonds are required for the $25,000 and $50,000 levels. The agreement has a one-year term with four additional one-year options. Required response materials include a letter of qualifications, equipment list, personnel credentials, three references, certificate of good standing, arborist license or certification, and completed statutory certification forms.
