Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research, not a request for quotations or proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified contractors to provide supplemental industrial hygiene support focused on quantitative respirator fit testing for approximately 700–1,000 employees. The contractor would provide and operate at least two PortaCount machines, all required consumables, Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPRs), fit-testing documentation, employee notification cards, and printed test records. The contractor would also train employees on assigned respirators and CAPR use, and may provide qualitative fit-testing training as operational needs require. Services must comply with applicable OSHA respiratory-protection requirements, VA standards, and other cited federal regulations. The contractor must support weekday testing across staggered shifts, respond within 24–48 hours during outbreaks or other emergencies, maintain secure records, and provide qualified personnel and required licenses, training, and certifications. Interested respondents must submit company and contact information, business and socioeconomic status, UEI, small-business status under NAICS 541690, a capability statement and relevant experience, and any GSA Federal Supply Schedule information. The notice states that no quotes or proposals will be accepted at this stage.
