Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a contractor to provide one rental UPS system of approximately 80 kVA, with an associated battery cabinet, for a server/phone room. The contractor must verify the existing connected load, provide a comparable temporary system, deliver it, perform necessary demolition and site preparation, install and start up the equipment, and remove it at the end of the rental period. The existing reference equipment is a Liebert Model 37BP080XWXCBNR, serial number 3T00005193. The scope includes rental-equipment maintenance, a maintenance and service schedule, documentation of maintenance activities, troubleshooting or warranty service, performance demonstration, return shipping, and coordination of power-down and removal. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement addressing relevant experience, available contract vehicles and applicable NAICS codes, service categories, licensing and certifications, and self-performance or subcontracting plans. The notice specifically identifies electrical licensing, Liebert/Vertiv UPS familiarity, lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA 10/30 training, NFPA 70E certification, and qualified start-up personnel as relevant capabilities.
