Description
The City of Shreveport is seeking a contractor for the re-bid of the Mamie Hicks Park Tennis Court Renovation. The scope includes demolition of approximately one-half of the existing tennis court slab; construction of a post-tensioned concrete court slab; acrylic sports surfacing; regulation markings for one tennis court and two pickleball courts; new tennis and pickleball net systems; chain-link fencing, gates, windscreens, benches, drainage and grading coordination, and related site work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, testing, post-tensioning, documentation, permits, and incidental work required for a complete installation. The post-tensioned slab design and calculations must be prepared and sealed by a Louisiana-licensed professional engineer. The solicitation requires a Louisiana contractor's license for quotes of $50,000 or more, a 120-calendar-day completion period, and specified performance, payment, and maintenance bonds based on the awarded contract amount. The estimated expenditure is $225,000.
