Description
The City of Shreveport, acting through the Shreveport Airport Authority, is soliciting proposals from qualified rental car operators for non-exclusive concessions at Shreveport Regional Airport and Shreveport Downtown Airport. Services include short- and long-term vehicle rentals, customer service, reservation fulfillment, contract processing, vehicle delivery and retrieval, cleaning, fueling, light servicing, preparation, staging, fleet management, and staffing during commercial flight operations. The Authority intends to make up to eight awards, with each brand submitting a separate proposal and Year 1 Minimum Annual Guarantee. Evaluation will be based primarily on the proposed MAG and compliance with minimum qualifications, including comparable commercial airport rental experience, audited financial capacity, legal authority to operate the proposed brand, computerized reservation capabilities, licensing, insurance, and operational readiness. The initial term is five years with two one-year renewal options. A 12% concession fee applies to gross revenues, and the successful concessionaire must provide performance security equal to 100% of the initial MAG and maintain specified insurance coverage.
