Description
Bergen Community College is soliciting qualification statements from firms or individuals capable of providing general architecture services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes site analysis and planning; project-needs definition; schematic concepts; preliminary and final design; image development; plans, specifications, conceptual designs, cost estimates, and project manuals for building construction; bidding assistance; budget projections; space planning; permit review; and preparation of applications and correspondence for regulatory agencies. The selected qualified respondents may also be asked to attend Board of Trustees, Site and Facilities Committee, project, and bid-related meetings; prepare or review reports, permits, applications, and bid documents; interact with College personnel and governmental agencies; and provide specialized architectural services for renovations, new construction, and other College projects. The submission must include an executive summary, executed Letter of Qualification, executed Letter of Intent, organizational and ownership information, licensing and business-registration information, affirmative-action documentation, professional experience and references, subcontracting information, key-employee resumes, and a narrative addressing the College’s needs and the respondent’s capabilities. Required forms include Forms 00810A, 00810C, 00880, 00890, 00900, and 00920.
