Description
The Hawaii Army National Guard is soliciting a contractor to provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to replace an existing backflow preventer assembly with one of the same size and design. The work includes required flanges, connectors, fittings, gauges, bolts, gaskets, strainers, and other plumbing parts; coordination with the local Board of Water Supply when necessary; preparatory work; removal of flange caps; installation; testing; final cleanup; and reports. The work must comply with applicable local Board of Water Supply and Department of Health guidelines for backflow preventer repair or replacement. The solicitation identifies the procurement as construction and permits electronic quotes. A pre-bid conference is scheduled onsite, and the package includes drawings, specifications, environmental forms, an Act 68 form, terms and conditions, an addendum, payment and performance bond documents, and a contractor acknowledgment document.
