Description
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the purchase and removal of a house located at Black Hawk Lake State Park. The successful bidder must obtain all necessary moving permits, assume responsibility for the structure after bid acceptance, remove the structure no later than May 31, 2027, and leave the site free of debris and orderly. All solid waste generated by the removal must be taken to a permitted sanitary landfill. Any tree removal or trimming requires approval from Department of Natural Resources staff. Bidders must submit the provided bid form, include a $500 certified-check bid guarantee drawn on an Iowa bank, and pay the full bid amount within 10 days after notification of the possession date.
