Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to procure seven new handheld retroreflectometers. These devices will be used by ODOT inspection staff to conduct inspections of pavement markings, ensuring compliance with visibility and safety standards. The evaluation process will consider both product features and price, with a best-value method applied. Key product specifications include a minimum 8GB memory, a camera capable of taking close-up photos for bead embedment assessment with at least 5-megapixel resolution, rechargeable and replaceable batteries, and GPS capabilities. The retroreflectometer must also meet various compliance standards, including EN 1436 and ASTM E1710, among others. The operating temperature range should be between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, with a humidity range of 20% to 85%. The contract term is anticipated to be one year.
