Description
The City of Spicer is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide comprehensive managed information technology (IT) services. The goal is to enhance IT effectiveness, improve service quality, minimize support costs, and maximize return on IT investment. The city operates with a Microsoft-based network infrastructure and requires a business partner for technical support, including break-fix, routine maintenance, and project-related services. The scope of work encompasses 24/7 monitoring of servers and network components, full-service help desk and operations center services, remote management, server and network administration, patch management, and regular security assessments. The city may also seek consulting for IT planning and disaster recovery. The city has two physical locations: city hall/community center and a public works building. The ideal vendor will have experience with local government organizations. The contract term considered is three years with two optional one-year extensions.
