Description
The Maryland Department of Health is soliciting a staffing firm to provide one licensed psychologist for 20 hours per week of on-site services at the Potomac Center and Secure Evaluation Therapeutic Treatment facilities. The psychologist will serve adults with intellectual disabilities and possible co-existing mental disorders, including individuals with forensic involvement, and will provide clinical supervision, assessments, treatment interventions, competency-related services, psychological summaries, guardianship evaluations, hearing testimony, documentation, and interdisciplinary consultation. The assigned psychologist must be licensed by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and have at least two years of experience providing psychology services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The bidder must also demonstrate at least two years of similar clinical staffing experience and submit references, licensing evidence, and a resume or curriculum vitae. Services must be performed on site, with required MANDT System, CPR, First Aid, background-check, infection-control, and facility-security compliance. The contract is a firm-fixed-price, two-year base-period engagement with no option periods.
