Description
The City of Passaic is seeking a New Jersey-licensed physician or advanced practice nurse to serve as a consulting prescriber for the Passaic Alliance Substance Abuse Treatment Program. Services include reviewing program policies and procedures for compliance with New Jersey standards, reviewing and approving client medical records and treatment plans for clients with co-occurring disorders, participating in treatment team meetings, providing referrals to licensed physicians or specialists, and attending annual policy review and quality assurance meetings. The position requires approximately 16 to 24 flexible hours per month. Applicants must possess state and federal licensing, experience treating clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, and experience prescribing Suboxone with associated DEA and CDS clearances. The stated rate is $150 per hour, and the City will determine the not-to-exceed amount. Proposals must include the completed proposal information, a resume addressing the qualifications and experience requirements, any scope deviations, and the listed certifications and acknowledgments.
