Description
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is soliciting proposals from qualified, Georgia-licensed architectural firms to provide comprehensive design professional services for a new STEM Academy serving approximately 750 students in grades 6–8. The scope includes programming and master planning; conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents; demolition and phasing plans; site, utility, landscape, athletic field, parking, and access design; permitting; Georgia Department of Education approvals; BIM and clash detection; and construction contract administration. The selected firm will coordinate with a future Construction Manager at Risk and participate in community design presentations and revisions. The project budget is $70,000,000, including consultants, design, construction, furniture, fixtures and equipment, technology, and contingencies. Offerors must demonstrate at least five continuous years of relevant design experience, be licensed architects in Georgia, provide a technical proposal and fee proposal, identify key personnel and subconsultants, submit up to five comparable projects, and provide at least three references. Required supporting materials include insurance documentation, corporate registration if applicable, applicable licenses, and a W-9. The solicitation requires four completed and notarized solicitation forms, including offeror information, E-Verify, debarment and suspension, and lobbying disclosure forms.
