Description
Chatham County is soliciting bids for automated exterior carwash and cleaning services for approximately 350 to 375 marked and unmarked patrol sedans, police utility SUVs, light trucks, and administrative transport vehicles. The contractor must own, operate, or manage at least two fully operational carwash facilities geographically distributed within the county. The service must provide unlimited wash cycles per vehicle per month for a fixed monthly fee per registered license plate. Each facility must offer complimentary high-suction self-service vacuums and an automated license plate reader system that verifies fleet status, logs wash events, and grants entry without tokens or cards. The standard or express exterior wash must include a high-pressure prep rinse, soft-touch or touchless wash, undercarriage rinse, wheel and tire wash, polish application, and high-velocity drying, with equipment calibrated to avoid damaging law-enforcement accessories. Monthly electronic invoices must itemize wash dates and times, facility IDs, license plates, vehicle unit numbers when integrated, and applicable rates. The contract is for one year with four additional one-year renewal options.
