Description
The U.S. Special Operations Command is conducting market research for the lease of a Bell 412 single-engine rotary wing aircraft to support training exercises. The aircraft must include dual flight controls, standard backlit flight instruments, GPS and WAAS-enabled navigation equipment, Mode C transponder, VHF radios and intercom systems, FAA lighting, radar altimeter, cabin seats, skid landing gear, and specified ground-support equipment and publications. It must cruise at 110 knots and remain airborne for at least 2.5 hours with three crew members totaling 600 pounds. Objective equipment includes an NVG-compatible cockpit, multiband and additional VHF radio capability, air conditioning, four-crew endurance capability, a two-axis autopilot, first-limit engine indicators, and full ADS-B compliance. Respondents must submit a brief, typed capability statement addressing company identification and address, SAM UEI, business classification, point of contact, and demonstrated ability to meet the requirements.
