Description
The U.S. Navy requires short-term commercial vehicle rental services supporting the USNS Amelia Earhart's port visit. The contractor must provide two mid-size or full-size sedans, one four-door pickup truck, and three 12- or 15-passenger vans for the stated period of performance. Equivalent commercial vehicles are acceptable if they meet or exceed the required passenger capacity and intended purpose. The contractor is responsible for vehicle delivery, management, maintenance, full fuel tanks at delivery, current registration and insurance documentation, and replacement of any vehicle that breaks down or is rejected. Replacement vehicles must provide equal or greater capability and be supplied within three hours of government notification. The requirement is restricted to contractors holding one of the seven listed active blanket purchase agreements and is set aside entirely for small businesses.
