Description
Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is soliciting a contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services to remove two existing Liebert HVAC systems and install two new Liebert Cool Phase condensing units and two 8-ton ceiling precision cooling systems. The work serves the main server room and Main Point of Entry building at Cuyamaca College and includes refrigerant recovery and disposal, refrigerant and condensate piping, insulation, supports, vibration isolation, seismic bracing, integration with existing ductwork, and installation of a new Liebert control system with lead/lag operation. The scope also includes electrical connections and controls, rooftop and ceiling rigging, hoisting and crane services, startup, testing, commissioning, submittals, as-built documentation, and warranties. This is a prevailing-wage, one-time public works project requiring a California C-20 contractor's license.
