Description
The State of California Department of Rehabilitation is soliciting quotes for six newly manufactured vending machines to be installed for the California Environmental Protection Agency: two beverage machines, two classic chilled snack machines, and two single-zone frozen-food machines. Required features include ADA readiness, keypad payment interfaces, Cantaloupe G11 credit-card readers, coin mechanisms, bill validators, specified electrical configurations, and compliance with applicable safety, accessibility, energy, sanitation, and vending-machine standards. Used or reconditioned equipment is prohibited, and substitutions require written approval. The awarded supplier must provide freight, delivery, set-up, programming, installation, testing, operational training, warranty support, and removal of eight identified existing vending machines through trade-in or recycling. Delivery and installation must be completed within 35 calendar days after receipt of order; machines must be placed on the fifth and nineteenth floors, leveled and banded together, with packing materials removed. The supplier must be the manufacturer or a factory-authorized supplier and must identify proposed subcontractors. The response must include detailed equipment descriptions and model numbers, pricing and freight, installation and labor charges, trade-in or removal terms, warranty information, the completed RFQ form, required certifications, and applicable state forms.
