Description
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District is soliciting bids for the furnishing and delivery of new, unused, current-production brass fittings for warehouse stock on an as-needed basis. The bid schedule includes brass tees, caps, plugs, couplings, and reducing bushings in specified sizes, with equivalent products subject to approval. Products must be manufactured in the United States, meet the stated dimensional, pressure-rating, threading, connection, material, and applicable industry-standard requirements, and include country-of-manufacture information. The awarded supplier must provide complete pricing for all line items, support estimated quantities over a four-year contract period, meet the requested 18-calendar-day delivery lead time where possible, and deliver with compliant packaging, labeling, bar codes, shipping documentation, and warehouse receiving procedures. Bidders must submit the required bid, delivery schedule, bid schedule, technical and general bid data, manufacturer information, five customer references, exceptions, and subcontractor designation form through the electronic sourcing system. A quality assurance/quality control program and replacement of defective, damaged, rejected, or nonconforming goods at no additional cost are also required.
